Reference Number 0000290164 Ontario Northland Transportation Commission (ONTC) is seeking proposals from qualified contractors for the installation of Pressure Relief Valves (PRV) stations across various facilities within our maintenance operations, as well as modifications and upgrades to the main water line. The facilities include the Maintenance of Way, Paint Shop, Wheelhouse, Diesel Shop, Car Shop, and Stores Building in North Bay, ON. The selected vendor will be responsible for supplying, installing and testing the PRVs to ensure optimal safety and functionality within each department. The following is a General Description of the work to be completed by Thursday, July 31, 2025. The following list of items is to be used as a guideline only and may not include all the tasks to complete the work. Pressure Relief Valves (PRV) a. Supply, installation and testing of PRVs as per the engineered drawings. b. Adherence to safety protocols and applicable regulatory requirements. c. Delivery and installation of PRVs and water main must be coordinated to minimize downtime across all departments. d. Detailed reporting, documentation, and calibration of PRVs to be provided after installation. Main Water Line a. Main water line modifications adhere and are in accordance with the engineered drawings. b. Adherence to safety protocols and applicable regulatory requirements. c. Provide comprehensive documentation including installation, testing, and calibration reports.
