Colonial Avenue Streetlight Installation & Additional Equipment Purchase; and WHEREAS, the Town Board deems it to be in the best interest of the Town to advertise for said bids. All in accordance with specifications and instructions to bidders, and information may be obtained at the Engineering Department Room #20, Municipal Building, Kenmore, New York or the Engineering Department's designated bidding platform; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the base bid, conditioned that if his proposal is accepted he will enter into a contract for the same, and that he will execute such further security as may be required for the faithful performance of the contract; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, the Ken-Ton Bee be and the same is hereby designated as the newspaper for the purpose of advertising for said bids in accordance with Section 103, Subdivision 2 of the General Municipal Law; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, the Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids and proposals and to advertise anew, or to award a contract for part or portions thereof as in its judgment it shall deem to be in the best interest of the Town to so do.
