This roadway rehabilitation project consists of a 3-1/2" mill and overlay of Niagara Street from the western city limits to the western edge of the Two Mile Creek Culvert Bridge, a distance of approximately 1,500 LF +-. The project includes installation of approximately 300 LF of new storm sewer and 5 new drainage structures along Niagara Street, along with approximately 170 LF of new concrete gutter. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis Each bid must be accompanied by a certified bank check or bid bond from a domestic carrier licensed to do business in the State of New York in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid submitted Security for Faithful Performance: The successful bidder will be required to furnish Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds written by firms licensed to do business in New York State, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amounts in accordance with the provisions of the Contract Documents. It is New York State s goal to promote and encourage the use of New York State Certified Minority and Women-owned Business Enterprises (M/WBE). Local Sponsor is encouraged to make every good faith effort to promote and assist the participation of M/WBE as vendors, subcontractors and suppliers on this Agreement for the provision of services and materials where possible.
