Site work for a water / sewer project in Vernon, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Raw Water Replacement Project Bids are invited for several items and quantities of work as follows: Install approximately 7,225 LF of 24" water line, including boring under a ROW, connecting to an existing raw water supply line, and valves & appurtenances A bid bond in the amount of 5 percent of the bid issued by an acceptable surety shall be submitted with each bid. A certified check or bank draft payable to the CITY OF VERNON or negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (as par value) may be submitted in lieu of the Bid Bond. This contract is contingent upon release of funds from the Texas Water Development Board (TWDB) Question Deadline 04/10/2025 Please submit questions for this project at least 5 business days prior to bid opening through online in the Q&A portal or to David Perkins, P.E. at david.perkins@kimley-horn.com The CITY OF VERNON reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. Bids may be held by the CITY OF VERNON for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the bidder's qualifications prior to the contract award.
