Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Hamilton Township, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a detention facility; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

Atlantic County Justice Facility Phase II Parking Lot Pavement Resurfacing Hamilton, NJ 08330. The Atlantic County Justice Facility Phase II Pavement Resurfacing includes removal of existing sections of the stormwater management system and existing full depth pavement within the project limits, while maintaining the solar panels, their respective pillars, and the existing security fences and gates that separate the campus. Existing stone and grass areas will be removed to accommodate the expansion of paved areas. Several existing trees and existing containers within the project limits will be removed or relocated as directed to clear space necessary for site improvements. The existing block curbing and timber walls used along the edge of pavement will be removed and replaced with concrete curb and modular block wall. The existing stormwater management system will be replaced to alleviate ponding conditions within the area. Existing pipe will be removed, and new HDPE pipe will be installed. Several existing inlets will be replaced in kind, maintaining existing inverts, as part of the reconstruction. During construction, the remaining stormwater management system will not be maintained. The existing concrete sidewalks affected by improvements will be removed and replaced. New parking and directional striping will be provided on newly paved surfaces. Parking and directional signage will be stored, maintained, and replaced. Concrete wheel stops will be provided for all parking spaces lacking full depth curb. Every request for interpretation or product substitution shall be in writing and addressed to the Owner. All RFI’s due by April 4 th by 4-PM. 3. Addenda will be issued pursuant to NJSA 40A:11-23(c Each bid when submitted shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond drawn to the order of the Atlantic County Improvement Authority, on the form furnished with the Bid Forms and other Contract Documents, for a sum of ten (10) percent of the total bid amount (said Bid Bond not to exceed $20,000). Each bid shall also be accompanied by such other documents and information as are required by the Bid Documents. Bids shall be on a total lump sum basis for the base contract as listed in the Form of Proposal listed on Page C-1 of the Project Manual. Bidders are required to comply with the laws and regulations of the State of New Jersey pertaining to construction projects, including, but not limited to the following: N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 and N.J.A.C. 17:27, "Law Against Discrimination"; N.J.S.A. 52:25- 24.2 "An Act Requiring the Reporting of the Names and Addresses of Shareholders or Partners owning over Ten Percent (10%) of an Enterprise";," N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.25 et seq., "Prevailing Wage Act"; N.J.S.A. 52:32-44 "Business Registration Act"; N.J.S.A. 19:44 A-20.4 et. seq., New Jersey Local Unit "Pay to Play" Law; and all amendments thereof. Bidders must submit with their bids the non-collusion affidavit contained in the contract documents. Prevailing wages established under the New Jersey Prevailing Wage Act will apply to this contract. The contract documents contain requirements addressing prevailing labor wage rates, labor standards, and nondiscrimination in hiring practices. The Atlantic County Improvement Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
