Renovation of a multi-residential development in Boston, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.
The name of this part of the Project is Heating and Domestic Hot Water Systems Decentralization - Phase 2 (Electrical Upgrades). Location at the Franklin Field Development, the BHA Project Number (1645-02). These Electrical Upgrades are for (7) Buildings 7-13, which includes the Management office at Building 12. And the Central Boiler Plant located in the basement at Building 12. There will be future related projects for these same buildings that will include upgrades for the new Heat Pumps in each apartment unit, Domestic Hot Water, HVAC, Electrical, Ventilation, and other. Heating & Domestic Hot Water Systems Decentralization - Phase 2 (Electrical Upgrades) at Franklin Field Development Technical questions may be directed to Bill Scanlon, Email bscanlon@blwengineers.com. The latest date for the AE to receive questions will be April 4, 2025. The general bid must be DCAMM certified in Electrical, and include a 5% bid deposit. The successful general bidder must furnish 100% Performance and Payment Bonds. All bids are subject to MGL c. 149, Sections 44A-J. Wages are subject to minimum wage rates set by the US Department of Labor. All general and filed sub-bidders must follow the BHA's Minority and Women Participation Provision and Resident Employment Provision. The BHA reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids, if it be in the public interest to do so.
