This is a service / maintenance or supply contract in Edmonton, Alberta. Contact the soliciting agency for additional information.

Recreational Trails are an important part of the visitor experience in Alberta's parks. Maintaining trails to make them accessible and to minimize risks to public safety is one of the priorities of Alberta Parks. Installation of trail signage is also important to help visitors find their way and to communicate important information about the trail system. Parks Division is seeking a service contract for a three-season (May - September) term for recreational trail maintenance within the Southwest area. This contract also comes with an optional 2 season extension based on the same terms and conditions. This service contract would include: brush clearing; removal of hazardous trees; and maintenance of trail signage along trails. Additional tasks include: restoring trails to original conditions (identifying areas such as berms and culverts, trail thickness and natural materials placement on trails); and identifying way-finding issues (poor signage, lack of signage). The Southwest area includes Castle Lake, Beauvais Lake and Chain Lakes. Refer to RFP document for detailed scope of work. Contract duration The estimated contract period will be 29 month(s), with a proposed start date of 2025/05/01.
