This Contract involves the provision of all labour, materials and equipment required to perform concrete slab levelling utilizing both grout and polyurethane methods for the City of Edmonton on an if, as and when required basis. The majority of the work will take place on public property utilizing grout slab leveling. A smaller portion of the work will take place on private property utilizing the polyurethane slab leveling. From time to time exceptions will be made to the method used based on City requirements, exceptions may include, but are not limited to: private concrete surfaces that have non-typical concrete finishing such as stamped concrete, coloured concrete, exposed aggregate concrete, etc. The majority of the work will be performed on sidewalks in residential areas and a smaller portion will include bridges, roadways and transit centres. The objective of the work is to fill any voids present beneath the slab and bring the settled concrete up to an elevation matching the adjacent sidewalks. The Work also includes removal of previous asphalt patches, saw cutting with sufficient dust abatement, drilling, core hole patching, turf edging, cleanup (including concrete slurry collection), protective hoarding and pedestrian/traffic control.
