The Beaumaris Pump Station (PS 131) was constructed in 1979 to service the Beaumaris neighbourhood in north Edmonton, Alberta. PS 131 is located on 155 Avenue (Ave) NW near the intersection with 102 Street (St) NW. Wastewater is conveyed to PS 131 via the local neighbourhood sanitary sewer system, whereby it is taken by a 150 mm diameter force main to the existing trunk sewer along 97 St NW. PS 131 was refurbished in 1994 and upgraded in 2007. The purpose of the project is to decommission PS 131 and convey the neighbourhood flows to the North Edmonton Sanitary Trunk (NEST) located along 153 Ave NW through a new deep sanitary sewer.
