Site work and paving for a road / highway in Neillsville, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The City is accepting bids for: -Pulverize existing asphalt to a depth of 6" of approximately a 1100' x 34' area of E. 2nd St. east of Willow Street. All excess material to be hauled by the City for stockpiling. -Finish shape and provide approximately 360 tons of hot mix asphalt for a 1.5" lower lift course of the above project. Final 1.5" upper lift to be paved the following year on a separate contract. -Provide approximately 300 tons of hot mix asphalt to be placed by the selected company for patching. This shall include separate pricing for both finish shaping with paving and paving only at 3". Per ton pricing per item. Asphalt Pavement products and installation shall comply with WisDOT Spec, Type 4LT58-28s asphalt mix. This work will be accomplished during the months of June, July and August 2025. The City of Neillsville, Wisconsin reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, including, but not limited to, any or all bids which are not responsive, to waive informalities in the bidding procedure and to award the contract to the bidder who, in the opinion of the City, will be the most advantages to the City.
