Renovation of a municipal facility in Neillsville, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The project consists of renovating Courtroom Branch 2 and its associated Jury room. The Courtroom renovation includes updating the space to be more accessible and replacing the ceiling, lights, flooring, and updating the electrical and mechanical system. The Judges bench, jury box, and other half wall in the room will be rebuilt. A new ramp will be constructed to allow the Judge access to the bench. The Jury room will receive new flooring, ceiling, and paint, along with a new kitchenette complete with base cabinets, sink, and refrigerator. Coordination with courthouse security personnel will be required. Bids will be received for a single-prime contract. Bidders must begin work upon receipt of the Notice to Proceed and must complete all work before December 31, 2026. Bid security in the amount of 5 percent of the bid amount must be submitted with each bid. Bidders must be properly licensed and able to obtain required insurance and bonds. No verbal explanation or instructions regarding the drawings or specifications will be provided during the bid period. Any questions or requests for clarification must be submitted to the Architect/Engineer at least ten business days before the bid opening. Failure to request clarification will not relieve the successful bidder of responsibility. Signing the contract will indicate that the contractor has a thorough understanding of the scope of work and the contract documents. All questions and clarifications must be emailed to Apex Engineering, landonj@apexengineering.biz by Monday, January 12, 2026. An addendum will be issued January 15th.
