Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Columbus, Mississippi. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility; for paving for a transportation facility; and water / sewer project.

Work will be that associated with the ARFF Access Road Reconstruction (FDR) project which will involve full depth reclamation of the ARFF access road, concrete flume replacement, storm drainage ditch rehabilitation including regrading, storm pipe replacement, and associated pavement patching. All work will be accomplished in accordance with current FAA design requirements, or local county regulation, whichever is more stringent. The award of the contract will be based on the lowest qualified bid proposal that maximizes the available funding for the project. Additive alternates will be awarded based on available funding and in no particular order. All work performed shall be in exact accordance with the Construction Plans, Technical Specifications (on file at the office of the said Owner), Proposals and Special Provisions, under the direct supervision and to the entire satisfaction of the Owner and in accordance with the laws of the State of Mississippi. Contractors must be qualified under Mississippi Law and be registered with the State of Mississippi as a licensed general contractor capable of performing the required work. Each Bidder must deposit with his proposal, a Bid Bond or Certified Check in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of his bid, payable to the Golden Triangle Regional Airport, as bid security. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Payment Bond and Performance Bond each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. Any questions that bidders might have should be directed to the airport's engineering consultant, Neel-Schaffer, Inc., Birmingham, Alabama, to the attention of Joshua Stump, project engineer. The engineer will receive questions related to this project until 1:00 p.m. on April 17, 2025, after which additional questions will continue to be accepted, but without guarantee it/they will be answered before bid opening. The Authority reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any and all informalities in the best interest of the Airport Authority. The Owner, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252, 42 USC 2000d to 2000d4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders or offerors that it will affirmatively ensure that for any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and no businesses will be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, national origin (including limited English proficiency), creed, sex (including sexual orientation and gender identity), age, or disability in consideration for an award.
