The overall park project began in March 2025 and is scheduled to open on Veteran's Day 2025. Along with the recreational amenities at the park will be the Town of Apple Valley's first Veterans Monument. The monument's site will be prepared by the park's general contractor and include a concrete foundation, flag poles, and lighting. They will also provide final installation of the monument. The selected Vendor will be responsible for providing full design of the monument based on the concept, structural calculations (as required), and any other plans and/or calculations required to fabricate and install the new monument at its selected location.
