The City of Toppenish invites separate sealed BIDS for the construction of the Wastewater Treatment Plant Indirect Biosolids Dryer System - Equipment Only, HLA including the following approximate major quantities of work: Supply of a complete packaged Indirect Biosolids Dryer System for incorporation into an existing wastewater treatment plant system, including electrical controls, and instrumentation. This project also includes providing equipment submittals, O&M manuals, installation and startup assistance, testing, programming, training, and commissioning service during the specified warranty period. All equipment shall be delivered to the project site 30 weeks from acceptance of the contract. All questions should be directed to Dean P. Smith, PE, at 509-966-7000 or dsmith@hlacivil.com. All bids or proposals must be in writing on the form bound in the Specifications, sealed and filed with the Clerk on or before the day and hour above mentioned. The City of Toppenish, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award.
