The CONTRACTOR shall provide electrical services at the Nebraska Public Power District's (DISTRICT) Cooper Nuclear Station located at 72676 648A Ave, Brownville, Nebraska. Contact for questions: Amanda Vonderschmidt, Procurement Leader Ph: 402 245-0200 Email: alvonde@nppd.com The CONTRACTOR shall provide electrical services at the Nebraska Public Power District's (DISTRICT) Cooper Nuclear Station located at 72676 648A Ave, Brownville, Nebraska. Services to be provided by the CONTRACTOR shall include, but not limited to, the following: 1.) Installation of conduit and cabling to connect Dry Fuel Storage Horizontal Storage Modules temperature monitoring probes to plant system for 22 horizontal storage modules. 2.) Installation of thermocouples and grounding cables on 22 horizontal storage modules. 3.) Post installation testing and acceptance. Scope of Work is located outdoors, elevated on top of the Horizontal Storage Modules at roughly at 25 foot height and cable pulls will be performed through manholes that is a confined space. The CONTRACTOR will provide tools specific to electrical work, personal protective equipment to include safety shoes, hard hats, gloves, and safety glasses necessary to perform the services. The DISTRICT will provide all supplies required to perform the scope of work and personal protective equipment to support working at heights as necessary such as fall protection. District shall provide to CONTRACTOR all necessary training to obtain unescorted access to Cooper Nuclear Station, training for working at heights, and training necessary to work within a confined space. DISTRICT shall perform confined space monitoring as necessary. The CONTRACTOR shall provide six (6) qualified electricians during the scope of work to install conduit, cabling, thermocouples, and grounding. CONTRACTOR shall provide two (2) qualified electricians to perform testing. CONTRACTOR shall provide qualified individuals that are able to obtain and maintain unescorted access to Cooper Nuclear Station. DISTRICT will provide opportunity to walkdown work site for further understanding of the work scope. WORK SCHEDULE The services to be provided under this Request for Quote will be performed per the following schedule: - May 19 thru May 22, 2025 conduct necessary training for unescorted access to Cooper Nuclear Station - May 26 thru June 26, 2025 perform installation of conduit and cabling. - June 27 thru July 25, 2025 install thermocouples and HSM grounding. - July 28 thru August 1, perform post installation testing. Work schedule is 0700 to 1630, 9 hour days at 5 days a week
