The scope of the project includes the following: 1/2-inch nominal bituminous pavement milling Fill and repair encountered pavement cracks with an engineer approved non-shrink grout-type crack filler material FAA specification P-403 scratch course paving to fill in low spots and assure consistent transverse grade throughout the length of the runway - FAA specification P-403, 3-inch nominal overlay placed in two 1-1/2-inch lifts Runway shoulder restoration grading, seeding and mulching as required Application of initial and final visual runway pavement markings Install one each, L-858R, size 1, style 4, unlighted airfield guidance sign Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or a bid bond in the amount of not less than five (5) percent of the total amount bid. A Contract Performance Bond and a Contract Payment Bond each equal to 100 percent of the Contract Price will be required for the successful Contractor.
