**As of June 3, 2025, project was awarded, start date is as early of June 2025 and will be completed no later than September 2025** It is the intent of the RTAA to select a qualified Contractor licensed to work in the State of Nevada to provide construction services for the GA East Apron/Taxilane reconstruction project, including removing existing asphalt pavement, excavation, stabilizing fill, base material, utility work, apron and parking lot pavements, drainage, markings, and apron lighting, and to provide all material, labor, tools, expendable equipment, transportation services, permits and fees, utilities required, and all incidental items necessary to provide the Scope of Work entitled "GA East Apron/Taxilane Reconstruction" If awarded, a contract (Contract) will be effective on the date the Contract is approved by the RTAA Board of Trustees, signed by all required parties, and filed with the Director of Contracts & Procurement. However, the RTAA reserves the right to not award a Contract for any work herein; issuance of this ITB does not guarantee any subsequent award. Furthermore, the RTAA reserves the right to hire any additional contractors or consultants, as needed, at its discretion. A Bid Bond in the amount of 10% of the Bid amount is required for this Project. This Bid Bond will function as a penalty in the event the successful Contractor fails to enter into a written Contract with the RTAA in accordance with this ITB. Additionally, the RTAA will be entitled to actual damages, if any. Under Nevada State law, Contractors will be required to have a current Contractor's License for the type of work specified herein.
