Site work for a mixed-use development in Lucas, Kentucky. Design plans call for site work for a golf course; playground / park / athletic field; and water / sewer project.
The Commonwealth of Kentucky, Finance & Administration Cabinet, Division of Engineering & Contract Administration (DECA) is seeking professional design services for the Kentucky Department of Parks in providing irrigation design and consulting services for the replacement of automated irrigation systems of four state park golf courses: Barren River State Park, Kentucky Dam Village State Park, My Old Kentucky Home State Park, and Lake Barkley State Park. The goal of the project is to design and install efficient and sustainable irrigation systems with minimal disruption to park operations. This project will involve the assessment, design, and installation of automated irrigation systems to replace aging infrastructure at each of the specified golf courses. The consultant will work closely with the Department of Parks to ensure that the design meets current technological standards while adhering to the environmental and budgetary constraints of each park. As of June 27, 2025, project has been awarded.
