Bidders may submit requests for consideration of a proposed Substitution for a specified product, equipment, or service to the Architect/Engineer ("A/E") no later than 10 days prior to the bid opening. Additional products, equipment, and services may be accepted as approved Substitutions only by written Addendum. Prevailing Wage Rates and Equal Opportunity Requirements are applicable to this Project. Bidders are encouraged to be enrolled in and to be in good standing in a Drug-Free Workplace Program ("DFWP") approved by the Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation ("OBWC") prior to submitting a Bid, and, if awarded a Contract, shall comply with DFWP. All work and bids shall be under one General Contract including General Construction, Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing work for the Project. The General Contractor is responsible for scheduling the Project, coordinating work with other subcontractors, and providing other services identified in the Contract Documents. The bidder shall furnish a bid bond in accordance with Section 4.2 of the Instruction to Bidders. Furnish and install all general trade items required for the complete construction of the project, including but not limited to: site work including final utilities connections, sidewalks at locations indicated on plan, grading of lawn at new building. Building construction including raised building pads, foundations, air slabs, floor slab-on-grade, framing, insulation, interior stud wall partitions, downspouts, entrance doors, interior walk doors, door hardware, painting, restroom accessories, and miscellaneous items as indicated or specified in contract documents.
