Rehabilitation of John Street from Nipissing Street to Clark Street, including storm water, curb, sidewalk, watermain, sanitary sewers, and roadway. The project generally involves the road reconstruction and installation of storm sewers, sanitary sewers, watermain, subdrains and sidewalk of John Street from Clark Street to Nipissing Street in Sturgeon Falls. John Street to Clark Street is approximately 500m and includes intersections at Church Street, Arthur Street, Michaud Street, Carrie Street and Clark Street. The successful Tenderer, when notified in writing of the acceptance of his Tender, shall furnish a Contract Bond (100% Performance; 100% Payment) for the proper completion of the Contract and the payment of all creditors, OR 100% of the amount of the tender in cash or certified cheque. In the case of a Contract Bond, the said Bond shall be for 100% of the amount of the tender and must be issued by a Bonding Company satisfactory to the Owner and authorized by law to carry on business in the Province of Ontario. The security shall be maintained in force until the Final Release of Holdback Payment Certificate is issued.
