The Municipality of West Nipissing wishes to install two (2) thirty-six (36) Niche columbaria at the Cache Bay Cemetery and at the Lavigne Cemetery, in the Municipality of West Nipissing The Municipality of West Nipissing administers, operates and maintains five (5) active cemeteries within its boundaries. The total number of annual interments is approximately 50, of which ninety percent (90%) are cremation interments. There are existing columbaria in three (3) cemeteries. This project is for a columbarium for the Lavigne Cemetery, which currently has no columbarium, and for the Cache Bay Cemetery, which has an existing 36 niche columbarium which was installed in 2015.
