Completed plans call for the construction of a 5,000-square-foot service station / car wash facility; for site work for a service station / car wash facility; water / sewer project; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

The City of Hallandale Beach is seeking bids from all interested and qualified Firms (Proposer) who can provide Construction Services for use by the City of Hallandale Beach Public Works Department. The project includes construction of a new 5,000 SF EV Bus charging and maintenance facility, including but not limited to a new building structure including a new two bay garage for bus repairs and maintenance, offices, lobby, restrooms and supporting spaces and site work including infrastructure for charging units, solar canopies, bus washing area, drainage, parking, landscaping, and related work. Any questions are to be submitted via email to kvohwinkel@cohb.org no later than April 14, 2025 by 5:00 P.M. Answers to questions received will be released via addendum. Security Bonds: Each proposer must provide with the submission a Proposal Guarantee/Bond in the form of Bid Bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) payable to the City of Hallandale Beach. These funds are not cashed. These funds are retained guaranteeing the firm submitting the proposal will not withdraw the proposal for such period of time as the Commission provides a Resolution for award of contract. Performance and labor materials payment bond: Proof of 100% of total contract bonding capacity must be submitted with solicitation is required. Awarded Contractor must submit bonds no later than fifteen (15) days after receipt of Notification of Award.
