The City of Hallandale Beach (City) Police Department (PD) is seeking bids from all interested and qualified Firms (Proposer) who can provide locker room renovation services. The project is for the interior refresh of an existing mens and womens locker/showers space. It is approximately 1,000 SF, both combined. The scope includes, but is not limited to, minor wall demolition and reconfiguration to comply with Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards, the removal and replacement of all interior finishes, plumbing fixtures and toilet accessories, toilet stalls, lockers and millwork, light fixtures and mirrors, signage, concrete locker base bed as indicated in the drawings, and to provide with new soffits, wall and floor tiles and paint. The project includes architecture, interior design, and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP). The building is sprinklered. There is no structural work involved. There is no exterior work. Optional Item: This bid contains optional items for the furnishing and installation of Hallowell Phenolic Lockers and Benches. The City may award the Base Bid with or without the Optional Items based on the best interest of the City. BID BOND: As per Procurement Code Section 23-12 (2) Security Bonds: Each proposer must provide with the submission a Proposal Guarantee/Bond in the form of Bid Bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) payable to the City of Hallandale Beach. These funds are not cashed. These funds are retained guaranteeing the firm submitting the proposal will not withdraw the proposal for such period of time as the Commission provides a Resolution for award of contract. PERFORMANCE AND LABOR MATERIALS PAYMENT BOND: Proof of 100% of total contract bonding capacity must be submitted with solicitation is required. Awarded Contractor must submit bonds no later than fifteen (15) days after receipt of Notification of Award.
