Renovation of a mixed-use development in Deforest, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
Police Department: 110 South Stevenson Street DeForest, WI Work includes the replacement of 3 exterior window exterior windows with new aluminum framed windows to match windows from new building. The intent is that exterior and interior finishes will match the adjacent Municipal Building currently constructed. Bathroom renovations in PD hallway to include new plumbing fixtures, new towel and toilet paper holders, new LED lighting, drywall repairs, tile removal from the wall, 4" vinyl base trim and epoxy floor addition. The 3 windows are 46 1/8" x 46 1/2" Village Hall: 120 South Stevenson Street DeForest, WI Court Room: Work Includes the removal of a exterior window, removal of brick or masonry, install new block (find similar looking block) for new door frame, install frame and tooled joints, install wood finish and trim around door, aluminum clad on outside, vinyl base trim, install a 10 feet, 4 feet wide and 4 inch thick concrete sidewalk from new door to existing sidewalk with a broom finish. New door as follows: 1- 3070 hollow metal frame, 5.3/4 jamb, stops punched for existing wall anchors, primed, prepped for hinges and reinforced for closer and rim panic strike, overall frame is 40"-86" 1-3070 insulated hollow metal door, flush, 18 gage, galvanized, primed, prepped for hinge and reinforced for rim panic and closer 3-Ball bearing hinges with nonremovable pins, 4 1/2 x 4 1/2, US26D dull chrome finish 1-Von Duprin 22 EO exit only standard duty rim exit, 3', SP28 sprayed alum finish 1-Norton8501 mid-grade close, alum finish 1-set of brush weather stripping 1-Brush sweep 1-ADA threshold, 4" wide x 3' 1-Door and frame to be primed and painted Court Clerk Office: Remove sliding window on north side of room and install a wall with existing window from the eastern wall. Install a new store from window with opening or slide window. Electrical work to be preformed for installation of new window installation. Basement waterproofing/leak repairs: Repair north and south basement wall leaks. All project questions shall be addressed through Greg Hall, Deputy Director of Public Services. Bids shall be sealed and shall have the name and address of the Bidder and the Village of DeForest Project Name for which the bid is being submitted BID SECURITY - No bid shall be received unless accompanied by a certified check or satisfactory bid bond payable to the Village of Windsor in an amount not less than 5% of the maximum bid as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, the Bidder will execute and file the contract, performance/ payment bonds and insurance certification, as required by the contract documents, within ten (10) days after the Notice of Award The OWNER reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive any informalities in bidding or to accept the bid or bids which best serves the interests of the Village of DeForest WITHDRAWAL OF BIDS - No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of 45-days after the scheduled opening without the consent of the OWNER
