Site work and new construction of a stadium in Port Coquitlam, British Columbia. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a stadium; and for site work for a stadium.
New Multi-Use Sport Covered Facility designed to support local community sports, year-round play, and competitive activities. The facility, featuring a covered and seasonal side curtain open design concept, will include lighting and amenities such as change rooms, washrooms, and storage to accommodate activities like lacrosse, ball hockey, basketball, volleyball, baseball/softball, tennis and badminton. The space aims to relieve demand on existing arenas during the winter and transitional seasons, offering increased dry floor time and expanded opportunities for community and competitive play. The facility is planned within the current Shaughnessy Bike Park area in the northwest part of the city and the design strategy will be to enhance the natural environment. TIMELINE: Early investigative works and evaluation of concept design proposals is underway. Schedules may be confirmed in spring 2026.
