A pre-bid meeting will not be held. Each road requires different amounts of vegetation to be pruned, limbed, thinned, and removed. Potential Contractors should ensure that all roads (Refer to Attachment A -List of Roads 2025 and Attachment B - Santa Barbara 2025 Road Clearance) are inspected prior to submitting their bid. No allowance will be made for conditions that would have or should have been discovered during road inspections. In accordance with Civil Code 9550, if the bid exceeds $25,000, the Successful Bidder shall furnish within ten (10) consecutive calendar days after written Notice of Award, a Payment Bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the total amount of the bid. The initial contract will be for a one (1) year period from the date of the award. This contract can be renewed by mutual consent for 4 additional one-year terms. The maximum term shall not exceed 5 years from the date of award.
