The City has designed a force main construction project located along North Williamson Boulevard within the western utility easement. The North boundary of the project site is Strickland Range Road, and the South boundary is Gateway N Drive. UES Project No. 0430.2200102.0000 UES Report No. 140252P The Project Duration is 9 months to Substantial Completion from the Notice to Proceed, and 30 additional days to Final Completion. The awarded Bidder will be responsible for construction of, but not limited to: 3,000 LF of 16-inch C900 DIPS DR-18 PVC via open cut 1,750 LF of 18-inch C906 DIPS DR-11 HOPE via Horizontal Directional Drill (HOD) Work also includes providing tie-ins at specified locations, tie-in piping and appurtenances, plug valves, air release valves, valve boxes, fittings, all the necessary maintenance of traffic, dewatering, trenching, excavations, backfilling, compacting, erosion & sedimentation control, surface restoration, testing, commissioning, milling & re-paving, and all other incidentals required for the construction of the force main, all of which in accordance with the contract drawings and specifications The Contractor will refer to the Technical Specifications for guidance on the technical performance of the project The Volusia County USE permit follows Department of Transportation requirements.
