Brittany Hills Subdivision Improvements Description of Work: The Work is called Brittany Hills Subdivision Improvements and shall consist of fulldepth reclamation and HMA resurfacing on Cambria Lane, Highmeadow Lane, Southridge Trail, Sedgewood Trail, Boulder Bluff Lane, White Chapel Lane, Westbrook Court, Tealwood Court, Sedgewood Court, Cambria Court, Highmeadow Court, the White Chapel Lane cul-de-sac, and the Southridge Trail cul-de-sac. The project also includes spot curb and gutter replacement, sidewalk and driveway replacement, utility rehabilitation, and storm sewer removal, repair, and replacement. Bid proposals for this project will be considered not only on the basis of cost, but also on past performance, experience, and ability to perform the work. The Village of Algonquin reserves the right to accept the bid deemed to be in its own best interest, which is based on all of the above considerations. The bid will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder, as determined at the exclusive discretion of the Village Board of Trustees. If mailing is requested, an additional $5.00 deposit will be required. All bid proposals must be accompanied by a bid bond, certified check, or bank cashier's check payable to the Village of Algonquin for 5% of the amount of the base bid as provided in the Bidding Documents.
