Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Algonquin, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The Work is called the Willoughby Farms Section 2 Rehabilitation and shall consist of full depth reclamation with Portland cement and HMA resurfacing on Haverford Drive, Wynnfield Drive, Kensington Drive, Ridgefield Avenue, and Lawndale Avenue, with HMA resurfacing only on Dryden Court, Willoughby Court, Kensington Court, and Ridgefield Court. The pavement on Eastmoor Lane is proposed to be removed in its entirety and the roadway vacated. Within the roadway limits, the work also includes spot curb and gutter replacement, sidewalk and driveway apron replacement, installation of new fire hydrants and water valves/vaults, storm sewer point repairs and lining, and spot utility rehabilitation. All bid proposals must be accompanied by a bid bond, certified check, or bank cashier's check payable to the Village of Algonquin for 5% of the amount of the base bid as provided in the Bidding Documents. No proposals or bids will be considered unless accompanied by such bond or check. All questions regarding this project should be directed to Dave Kleinwachter, P.E., Christopher B. The Village of Algonquin reserves the right to accept the bid deemed to be in its own best interest, which is based on all of the above considerations.
