Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

Work Included: Renovations and site improvements to Blackrock Park in Ridley Township. All areas disturbed during construction shall be restored to its original condition or better. The Contractor shall be responsible to replace any curb, sidewalk, signage, parking meter, etc. per the lump sum site restoration item. No additional monies will be given to the Contractor to restore the site. All pavement restoration areas shall be neat, straight, joint lines. Narrow asphalt strips between curb and trench will not be acceptable. Major items include 1070 square yards of pervious path, 110 square yards of bituminous parking paving,170 linear feet retaining wall, and 60 cubic yards of rain garden. The successful bidder, who is awarded the contract, will be required to pay online a fee of 1/4 % of the contract award value. There is a minimum award fee of $100.00 and a maximum of $5,000.00. Bidders must confirm the fees associated with bidding through online and the successful bidder is responsible for the fees associated with the awarded bid. A bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid, made payable to the Township of Ridley, must accompany each bid. All Contractors and Subcontractors of any tier that perform work under this contract must comply with the Township of Ridley Ordinance No. 2048 - Minimum Standards of Contractor Responsibility. Each bidder must submit a Contractor Responsibility Certification, and if applicable, a Subcontractor list and Subcontractor Responsibility Certification with the bid. Failure to submit the documents may result in bid being rejected. The Township of Ridley reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or parts thereof, and to waive any informalities in the bidding, as them deem in the best interest of the Township.
