The Erie County Water Authority will receive separate, sealed bids for the furnishing of all labor, plant, tools, equipment and specified materials, etc. for Asbestos Cement Pipe (ACP) and Asbestos Containing Materials (ACM) Abatement, Removal and Disposal, June 1, 2025 through May 31, 2027. The Work consists of removal and disposal of Asbestos Cement Pipe (ACP), that has been identified within rights-of-way located in Erie County Water Authoritys service area and water districts that the Authority operates under a lease managed contract. The work also includes sampling for and removal and disposal of Presumed Asbestos Containing Material (PACM) or Asbestos Containing Materials (ACM) from Erie County Water Authority Treatment Plants and Booster Pump Stations. Total MWBE Participation Goals: 10% Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid. The Erie County Water Authority reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to accept any bid deemed to be for the best interest of the Water Authority even though the proposal chosen may result in the award of the contract to a bidder whose bid is not mathematically lowest.
