As of May 13, 2025 project was awarded to Drake Paving in the amount $1,484,348.76 Asphalt Street Mill and Overlay - Approximately 19,483 linear feet of 2" asphalt overlay (after compaction), nominally 24 feet in width, manhole risers and water valves to finished grade; All Asphalt Streets must be compliant with the City if Durant's Code of Ordinance (97.045) and (97.046) Curb Demo and Replacement - Selective curb and demo replacement 200 linear feet Striping on Street - Removal of stripes on concrete and striping 10430 feet double yellow line The work shall be completed within ninety (90) calendar days after the authorized starting date. Liquidated damages are established at $1,000.00 per day. The bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashiers check or bid bond equal to five percent (5%) of the bid, which shall be deposited with the awarding public agency as a guaranty. The City of Durant reserves the right to accept all items for completion, select and split items depending upon cost, or reject all bids Performance bond to the Full Amount of the Contract Price. Statutory Public Works Bond for payment of all labor and materials used in the construction of such improvements in the Full Amount of the Contract Price. One (1) year Maintenance Bond to the Full Amount of the Contract Price. The bidder (Proposer) must supply all the information required by the bid on proposal form including completion of the Bidders Certifications and affidavits or his bid will be considered incomplete and therefore rejected. Bidders must satisfy themselves of the accuracy of the estimated quantities in the bid schedule by examination of the sites. After bids have been submitted, the bidder shall not assert that there was a misunderstanding concerning the quantities of work or of the nature of the work to be completed. Information obtained from an officer, agent, or employee of the City of Durant or any other person shall not affect the risks or obligations assumed by the contractor or relieve him from fulfilling any of the conditions or the contract. The City of Durant reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities in any bid.
