All questions concerning this solicitation must be sent via email to tsadaka@widmerengineering.com no later than (5) five days prior to the due date. The responses shall be publicly displayed on the Widmer Engineering Inc. website. All work must be completed in 40 calendar days from Notice to Proceed (NTP). Contractors must be PennDOT pre-qualified for all paving items. Contractors shall be required to visit the premises to fully understand the scope of the project and all of the existing conditions and limitations relative to the work. Invitation, preparation, submittal, bidding requirements, all materials furnished, and all work shall conform to the current specifications of PennDOT Form 408, current edition and appropriate bulletins. Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check, bank check, money order or bidder surety bond in the amount specified in instructions to bidders. The minimum wage rates for each craft or classification of all workmen needed to perform this contract during the anticipated term hereof shall be governed by State Prevailing Wage Rates. The Borough reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids, and to award the contract to the best interest of the Borough.
