Follow 1/4 mile and turn left onto Beaver Valley Mall Blvd. Take first left off of Beaver Valley Mall Blvd. onto Wagner Road. Follow Wagner Road approx. 1/4 mile and passed Hilton Hotel then turn left onto Wagner Road Extenrion and enter the Center Township Water Treatment Facility. The scope of work generally consists of miscellaneous improvements at the Water Authority operations site which includes modifications to an existing Garage (Pre-engineered metal building), Water Filtration Plant and other miscellaneous site improvements. Scope of work generally includes select demolition and concrete modifications; construction/erection of new interior offices and breakrooms, upgrades to restrooms; installation of the following upgrades: new electric fob door entry system; 4-post Vehicle Lift; light fixtures; sample sink; overhead drip guards on existing doors; exterior precast covered material storage bin structure; HVAC Modifications; painting; electrical modifications; and all necessary appurtenances and restoration for said construction. This work includes but is not necessarily limited to, the furnishing of all labor, the superintendence, materials, tools and equipment and performing all work necessary to complete all General, HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical Construction in accordance with the Contract Documents. Any technical questions regarding the bid documents are to be directed to LSSE. The bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid, made payable to the Center Township Water Authority (CTWA) to guarantee the bidder's entrance into the contract if given the award. No bid bond shall be waived or returned because the Bidder has failed to or cannot comply with any requirements as set forth in the plans, specifications, or any applicable statutes of the State of Pennsylvania or any applicable municipal ordinances. The Authority reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any informalities in the bidding. No bid may be withdrawn for ninety (90) calendar days after the scheduled time for receipt of bids. The Authority shall (a) award the construction contract to the lowest responsible bidder therefore, or (b) reject all bids received within ninety (90) days of the date of bid opening; provided, however, that the Authority may, in its sole discretion, delay such award or rejection for up to one hundred twenty (120) days from the bid opening date until the Authority has received all required approvals from other governmental agencies.
