The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. The purpose the geotechnical and environmental field investigation is to (a) characterize geotechnical/environmental conditions within the Study Area, (b) investigate whether and to what extent past or current conditions at the Site have caused or contributed to contamination Study Area, (c) assess current and potential risk to human health and environment posed by conditions within the Study Area, and (d) develop and evaluate potential remedial actions. Includes work by Monaca Borough Water Utility to relocate water mains and service laterals within project limits. Includes placing new poles by Duquesne Light Co. (DLC) and transfer of DLC, Duquesne Light Communication, and Zayo wires from old poles to new pole locations. No poles shall be removed until all DLC and Zayo wire have been transferred. Maintain minimum 4'-0" egress width for path/sidewalk. Relocation of 6" gas line from crossing at 17th Street to southside of Pennsylvania Ave and roundabout. Abandonment of gas lines on 17th Street and Pennsylvania Ave. Verizon and Comcast will transfer aerial utilities to underground and will coordinate on trench excavation. Verizon and Comcast will coordinate their contractor for trench excavation. Adjustments of valve and castings in street and sidewalk areas to be brought to final proposed grades.
