The Town of Paxton has determined that it is in the Town's best interste to cancel the FY25-12 Tivnan Field Lights bid. Project The Town of Paxton will receive sealed bids for the furnishing of materials and services needed to install and wire replacement poles and field lights to our Tivnan Little League Field in compliance with 2017 Little League Lighting Standards & Safety Audit. The successful bidder will be able to: Pull all Town required permits; Provide all of the materials and labor to install replacement galvanized steel poles and crossarm assembly to replace the four of the Town's poles that are standing around Tivnan Field; Uninstall and properly dispose of the old wooden poles, crossarms, lights and all materials; Provide and install a new lighting system for the field; Provide and install new underground conduit; Install new secured/locked remote control lighting function with a mobile access option; Dispose of old lights properly; Tivnan Field is owned by the Town of Paxton and operated by the Paxton Recreation Department. The field is amidst other recreational fields and is located at 40 Recreation Drive. The primary use of the Tivnan Field is for Little League games. The field was originally designed and lights were installed around the 1980's using six wooden poles with cross arms around the field. The field services 240 Amps. The Paxton Municipal Light Plantserves as the Town of Paxton's provider for Electricity. Contractor Qualification Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000.
