City of Tucson, hereinafter referred to as "COT", is conducting a competitive process to retain a Contractor to provide construction services for Mission Manor Park Pool Renovation and Splash Pad Addition. The estimated budget for this project is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. The work under this Section shall consist of the care of all planted stock in conformance with accepted horticultural practices and the GSI Maintenance (Mx) Pocket Guide (2022); keeping all horticultural and related areas free of invasive weeds, invasive grasses (at minimum the "Common Weeds" listed in GSI Mx Pocket Guide), litter, and debris; replacing dead, dying, or diseased plant material, pruning trees at the guidance of the Storm to Shade project contact (S2S), applying all irrigation water, including hand watering of cacti if not on irrigation system; repairing, adjusting, removing or replacing stakes and support wires; protecting trees and shrubs from rodent damage; pruning as required by S2S; repair of earthwork and rockwork that has failed due to improper installation; removal of sediment in GSI features (in basins, at basin inlets/outlets) as required by S2S; sweeping of sidewalk or multi-use paths adjacent to landscape areas; and the testing, adjusting, repairing and operating of the irrigation system; as shown on the project plans and in conformance with the requirements of these specifications and the Special Provisions.
