TPCFA Unit Train Facility - Phase 1 You are invited to bid on a general contract. The Contract provides for construction of approximately 22,000 track feet of new track construction, 16 new turnouts, modifications to existing track, private at-grade crossing panels, access roads, and other track material required to construct a facility capable of landing and servicing a single unit train on a receiving and departure track along the north and west boundary of the Owner's "South 500" parcel with a single runaround track for locomotive maneuvering in and out of the facility including access roads for inspection and a set-out track for locomotive and bad-order rail car storage.
