The project consists of 1300 feet of roadway realignment. The new roadway will consist of 1.5” of 9.5mm wearing course on 2” of 19mm binder course on 4” of 25mm base course on 6” of 2A subbase. Additional work includes; large amounts of heavy grading, installation of S75 erosion matting, existing signage removal and new signage installation, tree plantings installation of a segmental block retaining wall and guiderail as indicated on the construction drawings. The existing roadway material will be removed and soil amendments installed. The successful bidder will be required to provide a 100% performance bond and a 100% payment bond within 10 days after the contract is awarded. A15% maintenance bond will also be required upon completion of the project. Proposals must be made upon the forms furnished by the Township. The Township reserves the right to waive any non-material defects or irregularities in the bid, and to reject any or all bids or portions thereof. Proposals must include the Public Works Employment Verification Form completed by the Bidder. Project is to be substantially complete by August 20, 2025.
