Site work and new construction of a parking garage in Dickinson, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a parking garage; and for the construction of a 76,410-square-foot, two-story above grade parking garage.

A. The Work consists of furnishing all the labor, materials, equipment, services, and permits necessary to complete the Work defined within the Contract Documents and as identified during a PreConstruction conference by the Engineer, City Inspector, and Contractor and as summarized herein. B. Work incidental to the repairs, including, but not limited to, repainting traffic markings, use of temporary shoring devices, use of temporary traffic control measures, and protection of persons and property is also included in this project. C. Contractor is responsible for completion of a visual survey and surface sounding of the parking garage to identify and clearly mark repair locations. Repair locations must be marked prior to the pre-construction conference. Contractor is responsible for determining actual extent and locations of repair areas in accordance with the bid documents and in coordination with the Owner and Engineer. Areas shown on the plans only represent typical types and approximate locations of repairs or deterioration. D. Work shall be substantially complete and ready for occupancy within the date set forth in the Instructions to Bidders. Substantial completion will be provided for the project as a whole, not by repair type or installation dates. E. The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and generally consists of the following: 1. Construction a new +-500-space precast parking structure. 2. Installation of one pole mounted electrical transformer. 3. Rework of site grading, utilities, driveways, sidewalks and landscaping around the new parking structure. F. Type of Contract: 1. Project will be constructed under coordinated, concurrent multiple contracts overseen by the Construction Manager. Deadline for Respondent Questions Submitted to KimleyHorn/Dickinson EDC March 24, 2025, by 5:00 pm CST The Dickinson Economic Development Corporation is seeking Requests for Qualifications (RFQ) for the Dickinson Water Street Parking Structure. The Dickinson Water Street Parking Structure is a new two-level precast concrete parking facility located in Dickinson, Texas. Spanning 76,410 square feet, with approximately 240 parking spaces, with stairwells and elevators to meet applicable building, ADA, governmental and Fire Life Safety codes. This project is the first phase of an overall planned development in the area. The facility is owned by the Dickinson Economic Development Corporation, with design services provided by Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc. As of April 3, 2025, a general contractor has not yet been selected for this project. A firm construction timeline for this project has not yet been released.
