The project consists of a bridge replacement with precast, prestressed deck beams founded on cast-in-place concrete cantilever abutments and concrete footings. The project also includes the reconstruction and realignment of approximately 150 feet of roadway, the construction of an on-site temporary traffic diversion road and bridge, and incidental work. The Town will award the Contract to only one responsible Bidder, based on the lowest responsive sum of the bid prices. Contractors must have a current registration of good standing with the Office of The Secretary of State to do business in New Hampshire and must be on the NHDOT's list of prequalified contractors in the bridge classification. The exterior of all envelopes containing bid proposals shall be clearly marked "Bid for Letourneau Drive Bridge Replacement Project, Jaffrey, NH, GM Project No. 668285, DR-4622-NH."
