The general scope of the work includes but is not limited to Audio-Visual System for a new multistory, 295,000sf laboratory and teaching facility currently under construction. The AV contractor will be utilizing the pathway and wiring infrastructure that being installed in anticipation of this package. Questionnaires shall be returned via e-mail only to the addresses above and received no later than 5:00 PM Central Time, Wednesday April 30, 2025. Federal, State, and local payroll taxes and contributions for unemployment insurance, old age pensions, annuities or retirement benefits of any type imposed or assessed under any provision of any law, whether Federal, State, or local, and measured by or relating to wages, salaries or other remuneration paid by Contractor to its employees of his own Subcontractors engaged in said work or in any operation incidental thereto, have been paid. A cashier's check or bid bond payable to the University of South Alabama in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the amount of the bid, but in no event more than $10,000 must accompany the bidder's proposal. Performance and Payment Bonds will be required at the signing of the contract. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive technical errors if, in the Owner's judgement, the best interests of the Owner will thereby be promoted.
