The Work to be done as shown on the Contract Documents, generally consists of the installation of new landfill gas blower with modifications to the existing suction/discharge piping and electric control to the blower in accordance with Attachment A - Scope of Work, Attachment B - Centrifugal Blower r1, and Attachment - C Photo Log of Existing Equipment. The Union Mine Landfill Facility is located at 5700 Union Mine Road, El Dorado, California 95623. The Work to be done as shown on the Contract Documents, generally consists of the landfill gas blower installation at the Union Mine Landfill . Questions will be accepted in writing only through submission to the Quest website under the Quest Project #9489377 Project Q&A by email, or in hard copy, until 5:00 P.M. on April 17, 2025 The contract time shall be one hundred eighty (180) Calendar Days. For bonding purposes, the estimated project cost is approximately $90,000. The Work shall include: Install one (1) landfill gas blower (to be provided by County) on the existing landfill gas equipment skid. Bolt the new blower/motor package to the existing landfill gas equipment skid. Modify and fabricate new suction and discharge piping. Piping shall be furnished by bidder and fabricated from stainless steel pipe. Piping shall have two (2) each one-half inch ( 1/2 ") National Pipe Thread (NTP) (Female) connections on both the suction and discharge piping for pressure and temperature gauges. Furnish and replace new flexible connectors on the suction and discharge sides of the new blower. County to furnish and replace flexible electric conduit and wiring from control panel to blower. Electric is three (3) phase 460 volt power supply. County to furnish and replace existing circuit breaker with new compatible ten (10) Horse Power (HP) breaker. Bidder to test for proper operation with site staff.
