The Work to be done as shown on the Contract Documents, generally consists of furnishing and installing a new landfill gas blower at the project site in accordance with Attachment A - Scope of Work, Attachment B - Centrifugal Blower r1, and Attachment - C Project Photo Log. The Union Mine Landfill Facility is located at 5700 Union Mine Road, El Dorado, California 95623. A. The contract time shall be one hundred eighty (180) Calendar Days. B. For bonding purposes, the estimated project cost is approximately $150,000. Q/A:- Questions will be accepted in writing only, through submission to the Quest website under the Quest Project #9945929 "Project Q&A", by email, or in hard copy, until 5:00 P.M. on January 28, 2026. Pre-bid communications and RFI are to be submitted to the email shown on the Quest website under the Quest #9945929 "Project Q&A", emailed to: ross.garner@edcgov.us with BID #2025-0162 - RFI as the subject, or in hard copy delivered to: County of El Dorado, Procurement & Contracts, 330 Fair Lane, Placerville, California 95667, BID #2025- 0162 - RFI. If a response does not require an addenda, answers to questions deemed relevant and appropriate will be uploaded to Quest on or about February 4, 2026. The Work shall include: o Install one (1) landfill gas blower (to be provided by the successful Bidder) on the existing landfill gas equipment skid. Bolt the new blower/motor package to the existing landfill gas equipment skid by welding threaded studs to the existing skid. o Modify and fabricate new suction and discharge piping. Piping shall be furnished by the successful Bidder and fabricated from Schedule 40 - 304 stainless steel pipe. Existing pipe is eight inches (8"). o Piping shall have two (2) each one-half inch ( 1/2 ") National Pipe Thread (NTP) (Female) connections on both the suction and discharge piping for pressure and temperature gauges. o Furnish new ten (10) horsepower (HP) motor/blower skid. Gardner Denver TBT brand ("or equal") Package with the following specifications: o Gardner Denver Sales Order# 5508792 o Serial# PO25949 o NEMA Premium Efficiency three (3) phase motor 213/5T Frame Ten (10) HP 230/460 Volts 3530 Rotations Per Minute (RPM) o Four-inch (4") Inlet Piping o Three-inch (3") Outlet Piping o Belt Driven - Belt Style 3VX o Horizontal Belt Guard o Furnish and replace new flexible connectors and gaskets on the suction and discharge sides of the new blower. Furnish and install new eight-inch (8") suction and discharge chain valves and gaskets for the new blower. o Furnish and install new eight-inch (8") discharge check valve and gaskets for the new blower. o Furnish and replace flexible/solid electric conduits and wiring from control panel to blower. Electric is three (3) phase, 460 volt power supply. o Furnish and replace motor contactor existing thermal units with new compatible ten (10) HP units (three [3] each). The successful Bidder to test for proper operation with site staff.
