Site work for a civil project in Byram, Mississippi. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work generally consists of: Materials and labor to construct a storm water detention facility. Clearing and grubbing. dirt moving and compaction, installation of rip rap, erosion control and grassing and seeding are some of the items required to complete this project. Contract time shall be 120 consecutive calendar days from the effective date shown in the Notice to Proceed. Liquidated damages will be assessed in the amount of the actual costs incurred for each consecutive calendar day beyond the specified contract time. Each Bidder must deposit with his proposal, a Bid Bond or Certified Check in an amount equal to five percent of his bid, payable to the City of Byram, Mississippi, as bid security. Bidders shall also submit a current financial statement, if requested, by the City of B y r a m , Mississippi. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Payment Bond and Performance Bond each in the amount of 100 percent of the contract amount. The City of Byram reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities or irregularities therein.
