BNOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Fond du Lac County Purchasing Manager is requesting bids for installation of metal roof overlay of the Fond du Lac County Expo Center addition located at the Fond du Lac County Fairgrounds, 520 Fond du Lac Ave, Fond du Lac, WI. Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary to complete a fully functional, watertight, manufacturer-warrantable roofing system. Roofing System: Install EPS flute-fill insulation in existing metal roof panels Install recovery board Install 60 mil TPO roofing system (mechanically fastened or adhered per manufacturer requirements) Heat-weld all seams Flash all penetrations CRITICAL TRANSITION & EDGE REQUIREMENTS 1. SIDEWALL (EXISTING BUILDING - LONG RUN) Base Bid (Required): o Remove and store existing gutter for reuse o Remove or release lower metal wall panels o Install TPO vertically (minimum 8 inches, 12 inches preferred where feasible) o Terminate membrane behind wall panels o Reinstall wall panels with clearance above roof o Reinstall gutter adjusted to new roof elevation Termination under the gutter is not permitted in the Base Bid. ROOF END CONDITIONS (GUTTER TERMINATIONS) At roof section ends where the roofing system terminates into an existing gutter: o Termination into the gutter is permitted and expected o Contractor shall install appropriate edge metal, drip edge, or flashing to direct water into the gutter system o All terminations shall be installed in accordance with manufacturer requirements to ensure a watertight condition This condition applies only to roof ends and does not apply to sidewall conditions described above. 2. VESTIBULE / TOWER TRANSITIONS Base Bid: o Remove steel where feasible o Terminate membrane behind steel components Alternate #1 (Only Where Approved): o Surface termination allowed o Must include metal counterflashing or trim o Exposed termination bars are not permitted 3. EAST ELEVATION (FRONT - PARKING LOT SIDE) Aesthetic Requirement (Mandatory): o All exposed edges shall include metal fascia, drip edge, or counterflashing o Finish shall match existing building Not allowed: o Exposed termination bars o Exposed fasteners without trim o Visible raw membrane edges 4. GUTTER WORK o Remove and reinstall gutters as required o Adjust for new roof elevation o Ensure proper drainage o Replace damaged components All gutter work shall be included in the Base Bid.
