Renovation of an educational facility in Boone, North Carolina. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

Appalachian State University is seeking design services for Planning, Design and Construction Administration services for the renovation and modernization of 50-year-old Walker Hall. This project will be administered as a State Construction Office full oversight project. Additional project requirements will be given to the teams that are short listed and/or selected. Bidding and Award May 2026 Construction Start August 2026 Construction Completion May 2028 The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
