The City of Daytona Beach Shores is accepting formal quotes for the complete repaving of the Daytona Beach Shores City Hall located at 2990 S. Atlantic Avenue. The contractor will perform job pursuant to the scope of work and specifications outlined below. Except for extenuating circumstances, job must be completed by September 30, 2025. M/WBE's are encouraged to participate in the bid process. A. Scope of Work - General Requirements 1. The contractor shall not engage or use the services of subcontractors in performing the contract unless the contractor obtains prior written approval from the City. 2. The contractor shall be responsible for supervision required to satisfactorily perform the requirements of the contract. 3. The contractor shall be responsible for keeping the areas of work as clean and confined as possible at all times. 4. The contractor must furnish all equipment necessary to satisfactorily complete the requirements of the contract. 5. Contractor shall be licensed by the State of Florida, Department of Business and Professional Regulation to perform the terms of this contract, as may be required. 6. All wastes shall be placed in a contractor provided dumpster and disposed of prior to job completion. 7. Contractor shall provide work meeting the specifications outlined in the specifications below. The City Hall parking lot contains approximately 22,200 square feet or approximately 2,500 square yards of asphalt. The contractor will perform job pursuant to the scope of work and specifications in this section below: 1. Mill 1.25" old/existing asphalt along concrete curbing to ensure a flush edge after paving. 2. Parking lot swept clean. 3. Prime tack coat. 4. Supply and install 1.25" of hot mix asphalt 9.5MM. 5. Restripe all parking areas. 6. Remove existing wheel stops and replace as needed. 7. T he wor k shall include all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation services, clean up and incidentals necessary to complete all work required per the specifications. 8. Work shall be on weekend and/or outside of normal business hours. All Questions must be submitted no later than 2:00pm on April 15, 2025.
