Site work and paving for a road / highway in Alma, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Any contractor submitting a bid must be licensed by a pre-qualified georgia department of transportation contractor and must be fully insured and bonded. License numbers must be written on the face of the bid envelope. No bid will be opened unless it contains the contractor's license number. See instructions to bidders for additional bidding requirements. Work to be done: necessary to construct the project titled fy2025 lmig - leveling, overlay, and stripping of twin lakes road & repair of pine grove road. In general, the project consists of road leveling and overlaying from wolf pit church road west along twin lakes road and stopping at iowa river road. The road will be leveled with 82.5 pounds per square yard of 4.75mm asphalt and overlayed with a double surface treatment with sand seal and re-stripped. All bonds must appear on the treasury department's most current circular 570 listing, latest edition. Any contract or contracts awarded under this advertisement for bids are expected to be funded through the bacon county board of commissioners fy2025 lmig program, tslost & splost. No bid may be withdrawn after the closing time for receipt of bids for a period of sixty (60) calendar days. The owner: reserves the right to reject any or all bids, including without limitation, the right to reject any and all non-conforming, non-responsive, unbalanced, or conditional bids and to reject the bid of any bidder whom the owner believes would not be in the best interest of the project to make an award to that bidder whether because the bid is not responsive, the bidder is unqualified, or of doubtful financial ability, or fails to meet any other pertinent standard or criteria established by the owner.
