The City of Alma, hereinafter referred to as Owner, is currently requesting proposals to furnish all labor, equipment, materials, and other appurtenances for the installation of The construction of various utilities and roadways to supply the Teresa Estates Subdivision The installation of +-3300 linear feet of 8 IN DR 18 C900 PVC water main including hydrants, service, and meters. The installation of +-3041 linear feet of 8 IN SDR 26 PVC sanitary sewer main including manholes and service laterals. The installation of stormwater utilities includes +-8400 linear feet of 24 rollover curb and gutter and +-280 linear feet of 18-inch diameter reinforced concrete pipe. The construction of a +-4200 linear foot of asphalt roadway including subgrade material, graded aggregate base material, and asphalt paving. Bid and Contract Security: Each Proposal must be accompanied by a bid bond for an amount equal to at least five percent (5%) of the amount bid. If for any reason whatsoever the Bidder withdraws from the competition after opening the bids, or if he/she refuses to execute the Contract, the Owner will proceed with the Bid Bond. The Surety of the Bid Bond, Performance Bond, and Payment Bond shall be a surety company authorized to do business in the State of Georgia, shall be listed in the Department of the Treasury Circular 570, and shall have an underwriting limitation in excess of 100% of the bid amount.
